NYCPHP Meetup

Looking for a freelance PHP programmer to assist with ongoing project work on a contract, telecommuting basis.  Ideally:
 
* Someone who has worked at a web agency on serious, high profile, professional sites.
* Experience with e-commerce and custom content management tools essential.  
* Adept at object oriented programming.  Java experience a plus.
* Specific technologies or tools: PHP, Apache, Linux, MySQL, Smarty, Perl. Experience hand-coding cross-browser HTML, CSS, Javascript.
* A positive, professional attitude and excellent communication skills essential.  Can communicate with Marketing and Design as easily as with other programmers.  
* Works quickly and takes initiative to overcome technical problems and issues.  Interested in learning.
* Consistently produces high quality code - simple, intelligible, maintainable, tested, secure, and well-documented.  

Please include a 1) a well-written cover letter, 2) a text-only or PDF version of your resume in the body of the email (no MSWord), 3) your hourly rate, and 4) three to five samples of your best technical work (i.e. links, screenshots, coding samples)
