Domani Studios is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our
team of creative thinkers. The position will require an obsessive
attention to detail and a firm but friendly attitude. Duties will
include proof-reading and testing websites and other interactive
projects. The position will require strong communication skills to
facilitate ongoing code improvements with Developers and Project
Managers.

Additionally, the candidate will be required to learn the technical
requirements specified by clients such as Starwood Hotels,
Anheuseur-Busch, Volkswagon and others. Knowledge of HTML, CSS,
Javascript, and Flash is required.


Responsibilities
- Proof interactive projects for spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Ensure that proper tracking/promotion codes are embedded in the project
- Ensure that client technical specifications are accounted for
- Test projects on various platforms, versions, and plug-in variations
- Plan and coordinate testing cycles
- Write test scripts (automated/manual) and verification criteria
- Consolidate user feedback, and create summary reports.
- Investigate bug reports and isolate their causes
- Track, log and manage bugs using online tool such as BugZilla or Trac
- Ensure that Omniture or WebTrends codes are properly configured
- Assist developers with unit testing throughout the build process
- Test forms, database, and adminisration tools


Qualifications
- Super-human attention to detail
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of proper typography
- Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and transition
between projects
- Ability to work both independently and effectively in teams
- Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies
- knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, Flash, SQL, PHP
- Knowledge of Omniture, WebTrends and Google Analytics
- Knowledge of Mac and PC (ie. able to add/remove plugins)
- Experience with web-based, database-driven and client-server applications


Bonus Points
- Software development with Java or Perl
- Unix experience
- Stress test /load testing experienc
- Security testing experience
- Ability to write regular expressions
- Knowledge of Subversion, CVS or other version control software
