[nycphp-jobs] PHP developer/architect to build a black box regression test suite for a RESTful interface

AppNexus is developing a RESTful API to control a software service. The product is evolving quickly, and to ensure that the documentation and implementation are in sync, we need a black box regression test suite that implements what is _documented_, not necessarily what the system actually does.

We would like a senior developer who has experience working with APIs. One of the key results from this process should be ongoing feedback about the design of the system and the quality of the documentation. Fixing a design flaw is equally as valuable as finding a bug in the code.

Our team is experienced, so sloppy code will not be tolerated.

We have a sandbox environment ready for testing, with scripts that will build/update the system automatically. We use Subversion for version control.

Follow-on work is likely, and this project will continue as the system and specs evolve. AppNexus has raised more than $10MM in the past twelve months from top investors. We are also looking for senior development / engineering talent, so feel free to chat with us about that as well.
