Our client is a new kind of automotive destination that leverages the
power of broadband to bring the showroom experience to your living room.

Through the power of high-quality video and other visual tools, they
deliver a truly immersive experience addressing both the emotional and
analytical sides of the car-buying process.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is looking for a strong application developer to work on the
development of new features and products related to our video on demand
and broadband automotive destinations.

You must have experience in developing web applications using PHP and
MySQL.  Additional "traditional" web design skills in HTML, AJAX, XML,
JavaScript and CSS are also desired.  Knowledge of OO design principles,
unit testing and automated testing would be a plus.

Responsibilities
	* Analyze, design and develop database-driven web site projects
using PHP, MySQL, XML, JavaScript, DHTML and AJAX
	* Work with the development and product managers to develop and
maintain our cutting edge Content Management System.
	* Research, analyze, implement and integrate new mechanisms and
technologies within an interactive online environment.
	* Design and develop database infrastructure and our public API.

Requirements
	* Proven experience in developing high availability, high volume
web based applications using PHP, MySQL and AJAX
	* Experience in interfacing to partner servers using XML and
third party API's
	* Experience implementing systems utilizing a MVC framework (PHP
on Trax, CakePHP or Ruby on Rails preferred)
	* Familiarity with Linux and Apache a plus
