The right candidate will have experience building Social Media sites and understand communities - Web 2.0.


 


Experience


 


·         
Senior web developer with high level of competence 


 


·         
Expert in creating bespoke coding architecture and technical solutions


 


·         
An excellent knowledge of existing and emerging technologies, trends and markup languages & frameworks within Social Media


 


·         
A strong track record of developing and delivering first-class web applications is required.


 


 



 



Knowledge/Skills


 



·         
High level experience and knowledge of Backend and Front end technologies, including - PHP, Action Script, Flash, html, Java script, CSS (all essential).


 


·         
Ability to create bespoke coding architecture and technical solutions is vital


 


·         
Advanced knowledge and understanding of social media and networking platforms and monitoring suites 


 


·         
Good knowledge of server side installation


 


·         
Proven experience in the following:


 


o    
Implementing standards for accessibility, SEO and interactivity.


 


o    
A wide variety of CMS systems, database and server integration.


 


o    
A wide variety of social network API's such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flicker, Blogs, Myspace etc.


 


o    
Phone apps (iPhone and Android).


 


o    
Coding best practice across all work delivered.
