We are in desperate need of a second in command to the CTO at Sailthru, we
are expanding rapidly, closing larger enterprise deals on a daily basis.
Amazing opportunity to grow and learn. This position would report directly
to the CTO and likely become part of an increasingly large development team.

We need you ASAP!

We are a funded startup on the cutting edge of data and email behavior,
building
intelligent features to serve the entire startup community. We are inventing
new technologies every day, and the right person is going to have a blast in
this job.

You are:
 * Excited about working in a fast-moving startup environment where your
ideas and creativity will have a huge impact
 * A skilled backend programmer who can write lean PHP 5 code
 * Interested in new technologies and up-to-date on coding practices
 * Appreciates simplicity in design and programming practices

Bonus points for expertise with:
 * Email and email delivery
 * Web services and API design
 * Scaling challenges
 * Behavioral algorithms and data crunching
 * Document-oriented databases (we use MongoDB for everything)
 * Frontend user interface design
 * Java -- don't worry, we don't use it for web stuff, but it powers our
delivery engine

Technologies: PHP 5, Java, MongoDB, ActiveMQ, SMTP, jQuery, Apache, Linux

For the right person, years of experience are not going to be an issue. If
you're quick and ready to jump on board we can get you up to speed.

Competitive salary and benefits. Must be located in NYC and able to work out
of our offices at 9th and Broadway.
