Join a fun, creative company that produces content for the web, magazines, and television.  
Located in Brooklyn, you’ll be a part of a small digital tech team where you can be / become a key player, even though the company is much larger and has been successful for decades.


You’ll be working with PHP, MySQL, NodeJS, Linux, and a variety of JS frameworks (jQuery, BackboneJS, AngularJS), HTML5, and CSS3.  
The ideal candidate will be comfortable across the whole stack with expert-level knowledge of the back-end.   




Requirements:


·         


3-6 years professional web development experience.


·         


Experience building scalable websites.


·         


Deep knowledge of PHP, MySQL.


·         


Experience working with RESTful APIs.


BONUS POINTS:  
experience with multiple PHP or JS frameworks (e.g. Yii, Symfony, BackboneJS); experience building websites for various screen sizes; an interest in writing highly-optimized SQL queries.


Qualified candidates must be willing to work onsite in Brooklyn, either on a pure freelance basis OR contract-to-perm.  
Please include your hourly rate and/or salary requirements with your resume.  Market rates / competitive.
