This is a full time, on-site, salaried Software Engineer position located in
New York City paying $90,000-$110,000 depending on experience + benefits. No

Our client is the leading online travel sales site.  They provide
invitation-only access to high-end travel experiences at deeply discounted
prices.  Their sales feature some of the best names in luxury and boutique
travel in a limited-time only format that is exciting and engaging.

Job Description: 

Our client is seeking a highly technical and detail oriented software
engineer to develop and maintain their business platforms. This individual
will work closely with internal business teams to define and build the tools
critical to running our business at scale.  The environment is energetic,
creative, and fast paced. The ideal candidate will have considerable
experience with PHP 5 and developing highly transactional applications where
attention to detail is critical.

* 3-5 years PHP experience required (OO preferred).  Experience with a
similar language may be considered, but we develop primarily with PHP 
* 3 years MySQL experience, experience using MongoDB a plus 
* Extremely detail oriented and quantitative - you will interact with
accountants, analysts, and operations staff on a regular basis 
* Experience working with the Zend Framework or other OOP framework a plus 
* Solid grasp on version control and unit testing 
* Experience working with Unix family of Operating Systems required 
* BS in Computer Science desired, MS preferred - comparable experience
considered 
* Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities a must - our
engineering teams tend to move very quickly to solve problems
